Matrix

While I use iMessage primarily I also use Signal for secure communications with some parties. I've started to identify where I can diversify myself beyond de facto centralized systems. I run a Synapse Matrix server on my Ominous.net host that fully federates. I can be reached at @occult:ominous.net.

I am using Matrix as a Slack and Discord replacement. Unfortunately those companies have a stranglehold on their userbase and I am forced to continue using them to participate in certain communities.
